Early 1800s Camphor Wood Coin Chest Bed
Item Number：03001
A rare, single paneled coin chest bed. Unique to Taiwan, these beds were made by the wealthy merchants as a means of protecting their valuables. Servants were intended to sleep on them, which is one reason for the smaller size. This particular bed has elaborate ink paintings of scholars walking in their gardens and conversing with young women.
The base is top lifting on one side and wide opening doors on the other. It is constructed of large and thick slabs of camphor with its dovetail joins visible in the front, indicative of its age. Pierced carvings of fans, gourds, and other auspicious symbols are inset in the side and back panels, geometrically joined roof.

清代台灣香杉椅

典雅的台灣香杉對椅，椅背及手把成弧形，方型馬蹄桌腳，椅背背板及椅座前飾板均有浮雕，上背板刻有象徵吉祥，下方則是花的圖案。椅座前飾板刻有蝙蝠和藤蔓的浮雕，而桌腳中央前成凸字支架亦是作為踏腳板。品項良好，舒適平穩，構件、組合、大方而渾厚，大體風格素雅，較少繁縟裝飾。台灣傳統扶手椅在於當時整個社會價值中，其代表的是崇高地位與價值，隱含了許多製作上的知識構面和匠師對家具或自我的要求與執著，而一件藝術品也相對這樣的精神所孕育而出，是您不可多得的居家良品。

Incense Cedar Taiwan Chair
Item Number：9084 A & 9085 B
A fine pair of Taiwan arm chairs, featuring rounded arm and back frames above and square legs tapering to hoof feet below. The back splats have three inlaid panels, the upper of relief carved auspicious symbols, the lower of flowers. The front apron consists of bat and vine carvings in relief while the lower humpbacked stretcher serves as a support as well as a foot rest.
Comfortable and sturdy. In excellent condition.

Huang Hua Li Display Cabinets

A pair of classic display cupboards featuring upper shelves framed with pierced key and dragon head carvings, the lower wide opening doors with inset panels of pierced lattice carvings, simply carved aprons below. 
Huang-Hua-Li was used throughout the Ming and Ching dynasties and has become highly sought after in recent years. Cabinets of this type , with open shelves, were used to display antiques or decorative objects.

明沈德符《萬曆野獲編》曰：「椅之有杯圈聯前者，名太師椅」。

「太師椅」成形於宋朝，流行於明﹑清, 多設置於廳堂，其造型用料厚實，

記憶中在阿媽的灶腳, 有一個高高的廚櫃, 在炎炎的夏日裏, 四隻廚櫃腳總有著四碟清水, 用以防止螞蟻爬上櫃, 在那冰箱不普及的年代, 它通風的設計用來保存食物不易悶壞, 而在那又小又緊的抽屜角落裏, 藏著阿媽的私房錢小鐵罐, 幾個小毛頭總是計畫著偷挖幾毛錢去買糖, 當然下場都是被逮到毒打一頓, 現在想想那都已離我好遙遠…

這廚櫃, 應是大戶人家所有, 楠木做的櫃子, 門片用淺色木片鑲嵌著人物及花鳥圖案, 上層是對開門片, 中間有兩抽屜, 底下兩層為欄杆單門片, 做工細膩, 木質溫潤, 實非現在坊間木做可比擬, 無論放在客廳或書房都讓人耳目一新.

首飾和化妝品等物, 在這些物品上均有著象徵吉利喜氣的圖案, 做工
